I was talking in console gaming. PC isn't a console is it? Did I really have to specify that? Console FPS are just as good. Sure the joystick ain't as good as a mouse but on consoles Xbox is king of FPS. Gamecube you have RE which is good. PS3 MG3 which is looking really nice. Other than that I can't think of much. Counter strike came out for Xbox I believe. Half life 2 is coming out. Call of Duty 2 is on Xbox360. If you are talking about self made games then Nintendo would still be it as they make the most out of all the companies.

Since when did Console made great FPS other than Halo series!.... none

I forgot to read that you say console FPS games... and i do admit that Halo is fun to play with.

. So what if micrsoft wants to make more money? The reason I go with the Xbox360 is becaues I like FPS and thats what xbox is best at. They have the best FPS titles, Perfect dark zero is incredible. Not game of the year but really good. Call of duty is ok. PGR 3 is great game. Halo 3 is still in development but hopefully will come out nice. What has ps2 got? killzone? I admit that was a pretty good game but compared to what the xbox has I just have to choose that.

ummm Kinda true about the xbox gold, but its not all that they arent planning to make money off of it, by 2007, 2 years, price will go down aatleasst 100 dollars off of the system, more ppl buy it and it will cost about 200-250 dollars less to make- so about 100-150 dollar profit per system then :P

I bought the 360 premium first day, with the wireless adapter, Perfect Dark Zero, Project Gotham 3, and Kameo. I'll of course pick up Huxley, Halo 3, Oblivion, and Dead or Alive 4 when those become available. I was offered a staggering amount for the system and turned it down. I'm glad I bought the thing: PDZ is simply incredible, and must be seen and played to be appreciated.

I will support anyone who wants to sell me $600 worth of cutting edge hardware for $400, and with franchises like PDZ, Halo, Ninja Gaiden, and more, I have no question in my mind what the best system is. For $400 dollars you can barely get a solid graphics card for a PC . . .

Perfect dark cant even compare to UT's release on the PS2.

If you want a real game, amazing graphics, FPS, demand F.E.A.R for any console, SUPERIOR AI to fight, supurb detail, and I love the weapon arsenal.

I would love to see this next gen console even try to run that baby on MEDIUM graphics; atleast it has the BARE MINIMUM to support it...

you know why microsoft stoped at 512 ram right?

past that the O/S cant utilize higher ram effecintly.

if the damn PS3 had a digital out out for recivers I would totaly buy it; Blu-Ray drives baby; 25GB single layer 50GB dual layer of multi media.

It would also make sense if it was using a Bluetooth interface to make the connections, Bluetooth can connect 8 devices per controller....minus a dedicated remote for DVD playback and thats what you have left.

i think it will be a repeat of the last console wars. ps3 can do everything the 360 can + more and they have the games that are unmatched.

I didn't like ps2 simply because I like to game with my friends. The multi tap was gay. The online system wasn't great, The games weren't what I was looking for, and The graphics sucked compared to xbox.
I do admit I am biased due to that but now lets look at it now
Xbox is the slower one and ps3 is faster
But really it comes down to the games
Halo and perfect dark, unreal tournament with 16 friends is a lot of fun no matter what people say. Its all about what genre's you like. Though FF is looking nice.

Lets not underestimate the Revolution FTW Just had to add it

do agree that 360 has the shooters but it will be the same old same old. comes out on xbox will come out on pc so what's the point? can't get alot of the good PS games on pc.

xbox online is hosted and supported by microsoft (also have to pay for xbox live on top of your internet service). the PS games online was taken care of the games instead of sony directly (never charged you on top of your internet service).

besides seen nothing that can match the cell cpu. xbox is using old tech with slight improvements. ps3's tech will be the future of high end pc if they can get the manufactures behind it (which they probly will).

definitely never underestimate nintendo. i just don't classify them with ps or xbox. their focus is completely different putting more on innovation and getting you off the couch. i like that direction but unfortunatly i'm going to be able to choose one.

no one sees the sleeper though eye toy FTW. virtual reality will be the end game and eye toy is just the start.
